9mm DEX

9mm (app.9mm.pro) is a DEX on PulseChain offering both V2 (classic full-range liquidity, like Uniswap V2) and V3 (concentrated liquidity for better capital efficiency) pools.  It includes swapping, liquidity provision, and token and pool statistics.

Prerequisites

  • A compatible Web3 wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Internet Money Wallet, OKX Wallet, etc.).
  • PulseChain network added to your wallet:
    • Network Name: PulseChain
    • RPC URL: https://rpc.pulsechain.com
    • Chain ID: 369
    • Currency Symbol: PLS
    • Block Explorer: https://ipfs.scan.pulsechain.com
  • Some PLS for gas fees (very cheap on PulseChain).
  • Tokens you want to trade or provide liquidity with (e.g., WPLS, USDC from Ethereum, HEX, etc.).
1

Connect Your Wallet to 9mm DEX

  • Go to 9mm’s exchange: app.9mm.pro (9mm.pro and dex.9mm.pro forward there).  9mm’s own sites are app.9mm.pro and 9MM Lite at ninemm.eth.limo, a copy of the exchange that runs from IPFS, with older docs at 9mm-pro.gitbook.io; look-alike spellings of the domain exist and are not 9mm.
  • Click Connect Wallet.
  • Select your wallet from the list (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.) or use WalletConnect.
  • Approve the connection in your wallet popup.
  • 9mm’s app runs on PulseChain only; when the wallet is on another network the app shows Wrong network and a Switch to PulseChain button, which has the wallet ask to switch networks.
  • Once connected, your wallet address and balances should appear on the site.
2

Trading (Swapping Tokens)

  • Navigate to the Swap tab.
  • Select the token you want to sell in the You pay box.  Several tokens in 9mm's default list share one symbol, so pasting the contract address from Key Information picks exactly one token.  Native PLS has no contract address: it is the PLS button at the top of Select a token, listed as Pulse Β· Native coin; the entry shown as PLS PulseChain (0x260e5dA7eF6E30e0A647d1aDF47628198DCb0709) is a different token.
  • Select the token you want to receive in the You receive box the same way, by pasting its contract address.
  • Enter the amount.
  • Review the quote: Minimum received, Max slippage and Price impact (9mm’s Max slippage starts at 0.5%, with presets of 0.1%, 0.5%, 1% and 3% and a custom setting up to 9%.  Max slippage is the furthest the price may move against the swap before the swap fails; a wider tolerance lets the swap fill at a worse price and gives sandwich bots that much room: see Slippage).
  • Click Swap.
  • Selling a token asks the wallet to Approve it the first time (a transaction, once per token, that lets 9mm’s Permit2 contract 0x97D143Ef1223e90Ce50b5910eA5aACABFe4e1152 move that token); each swap then asks for a free signature that allows exactly that trade (not a transaction), and then the swap transaction.  Selling native PLS needs neither the approval nor the signature.
  • Wait for confirmation (usually seconds to a minute on PulseChain).

V2 vs V3 Note: Swaps route through available pools.  V3 pools can offer better rates in some cases due to concentrated liquidity.

Providing and Managing Liquidity

V2 Liquidity (Simpler, Full-Range):

  • Open Positions in 9mm’s top menu and click New position (Explore also has an Add liquidity button).
  • Pick both tokens by pasting their contract addresses from Key Information (the page may open with 9MM / PLS and V3 Concentrated already chosen), then choose V2 Full range under Version.
  • Enter the amount for one token; the app fills in the other at the pool's current price.  If the app says No V2 pair for these tokens yet (the button reads Create pool and add), no pool exists yet: the two amounts set its starting price, and any gap from the market price is taken by the first arbitrage trade.
  • Fees: a V2 trade pays 0.25%; 0.17% of the trade goes to the pool's LPs and compounds into the position automatically.
  • Click Add Liquidity β†’ Confirm in wallet.

V3 Liquidity (Concentrated β€” More Advanced):

  • Select V3 in the liquidity interface.
  • Choose a fee tier: 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.25%, 1% or 2%.
  • Set a price range (narrower = higher efficiency but more management; wider = more passive).
  • Deposit tokens within your chosen range. Confirm the position.
  • You can later add to the position, collect its fees, or remove it.  A position's price range is fixed when it is created; a different range means removing the position and opening a new one.

Tip for V3: A wider range earns fees across more prices and carries less impermanent loss; a narrower range earns more per dollar while the price stays inside it.  A position earns no fees while the price is outside its range.

Key Information

  • Main Site: 9mm.pro (forwards to app.9mm.pro)
  • Explorer: ipfs.scan.pulsechain.com
  • 9MM Token (revenue share): 0x7b39712Ef45F7dcED2bBDF11F3D5046bA61dA719 β€” verify on explorer before interacting.
  • HEX: 0x2b591e99afE9f32eAA6214f7B7629768c40Eeb39
  • PLSX: 0x95B303987A60C71504D99Aa1b13B4DA07b0790ab
  • WPLS: Wrapped PLS (native gas wrapper): 0xA1077a294dDE1B09bB078844df40758a5D0f9a27
  • Common Stables: USDC, DAI and USDT each exist more than once on PulseChain under the same symbol.  The bridged tokens are backed by the Ethereum originals: USD Coin from Ethereum 0x15D38573d2feeb82e7ad5187aB8c1D52810B1f07 Dai Stablecoin from Ethereum 0xefD766cCb38EaF1dfd701853BFCe31359239F305 and Tether USD from Ethereum 0x0Cb6F5a34ad42ec934882A05265A7d5F59b51A2f, which 9mm's token list shows as USDC, DAI and USDT.  The copies made at the fork sit at Ethereum's own addresses (USDC 0xA0b86991c6218b36c1d19D4a2e9Eb0cE3606eB48, DAI 0x6B175474E89094C44Da98b954EedeAC495271d0F, USDT 0xdAC17F958D2ee523a2206206994597C13D831ec7) and trade at a fraction of a cent (Copied Tokens); 9mm's token picker, like wallets and explorers, shows them as USDC, DAI and USDT, and tags them Copy from the fork.  USDL 0x0dEEd1486bc52aA0d3E6f8849cEC5adD6598A162 is the Liquid Loans stablecoin.

The DEX's token search matches names and symbols, and anyone can create a token with any name.  9mm's own default list holds more than one token under each of the symbols PLS, HEX, PLSX, USDC, DAI and USDT, and the token picker warns when several tokens share a symbol and asks for a pick by address, so the contract address is the only thing that picks out one token.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Slippage & Price Impact β€” Higher on low-liquidity pairs.  A higher slippage tolerance lets a trade fill at a worse price.
  • Gas Fees β€” Extremely low on PulseChain (fractions of a cent). You mainly need PLS.
  • V3 Liquidity β€” A V3 position earns fees only while the price sits inside its range; inside that range it earns more per dollar than a V2 position, and the narrower the range, the larger its impermanent loss.  A V2 position earns a share of every trade through its pool at any price.
  • Security β€” A shared Seed Phrase is shared funds.  The contract address, not the name, picks out a token.  A token approval stays open until revoked; revoke.cash lists and revokes approvals on PulseChain.  A hardware wallet keeps the key off the computer.
  • LP Risks β€” Impermanent loss, larger in V3 because a concentrated range magnifies it (a 0.5×–2Γ— range loses about 19.5% against holding when the price doubles; a V2 position loses 5.72%), smart-contract risk, and a V3 range that stops earning fees once the price leaves it.
  • Fees β€” Trading fees go to the pool's LPs and to the protocol; 9mm's Rewards page (app.9mm.pro/claim) describes the share of protocol fees paid each week, in WPLS, to wallets holding at least 1,000 9MM.
  • Monitoring β€” 9mm's Explore page (app.9mm.pro/explore) shows pools, tokens and prices; a wallet's own positions show under Positions on app.9mm.pro; Dexscreener shows pairs.
  • Alternatives β€” PulseX (main DEX) and Piteas (aggregator) also quote swaps on PulseChain, and the same trade can return a different amount on each.

9mm posts announcements on X at @9mm_pro; its older documentation at 9mm-pro.gitbook.io predates the move to app.9mm.pro.
