MetaMask
MetaMask is one of the most widely used browser extensions for interacting with Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains (including PulseChain via custom RPC). It offers strong dApp integration and is easy for beginners.
Quick Facts
| Type | Browser extension + Mobile app |
| Multi-chain | Yes — all EVM chains via custom RPC |
| PulseChain native | Via RPC — not built in |
| Privacy | Moderate — tracking concerns |
| Hardware wallet | Yes — Ledger + Trezor |
| Browser support | Chrome, Brave, Firefox (occasional version lags), Edge |
| Official site | metamask.io ↗ |
Important note: MetaMask is convenient and works well with PulseChain, but it is not a favorite among privacy-conscious users. As a product with ties to the broader ecosystem (and historical data practices), it can track or expose more activity than hardened alternatives. Use it in isolated browser containers or profiles if needed, and consider alternatives like Internet Money or Rabby for sensitive operations.
Support: Excellent across Chrome, Brave, Firefox (with occasional version lags), and others. Hardware wallet integration is solid.
Privacy caution: MetaMask has faced criticism for data collection practices, including Infura logging IP addresses and wallet addresses. For privacy-sensitive operations, consider Internet Money (no data collection) or ZKX (zero-knowledge privacy).
Rabby Wallet
Rabby is an open-source wallet often praised as a more secure and user-friendly alternative to MetaMask. It offers built-in transaction simulation (to catch scams before signing), multi-chain support, and improved UX for DeFi.
Quick Facts
| Type | Browser extension |
| Multi-chain | Yes — all EVM chains via custom RPC |
| PulseChain native | Via RPC — limited token prices and asset detection |
| Privacy | Very good |
| Hardware wallet | Yes |
| Open source | Yes |
| Browser support | Chrome, Brave, Edge (Firefox has compatibility challenges) |
| Official site | rabby.io ↗ |
Key features:
- Transaction simulation — previews what a transaction will do before you sign, helping catch scams and malicious contract calls
- Multi-chain support with automatic network switching
- Improved DeFi UX with clear transaction decoding
- Open-source code for community verification
- Hardware wallet integration
PulseChain note: Rabby supports PulseChain via custom RPC, but does not have native PulseChain token prices or full asset detection at the moment. It works reliably for swaps, bridging, and dApp interactions.
Support: Strongest on Chromium-based browsers (Brave, Chrome, Edge). Firefox support has faced some compatibility and maintenance challenges.

General Wallet Security Tips
Regardless of which wallet you choose, follow these best practices to protect your funds on PulseChain:
- Always download from official sites or verified browser stores
- Use hardware wallets for larger holdings — see our Security page for details
- Enable 2FA and biometrics where available
- Verify transaction details (amount, address, approvals) before signing — a single malicious approval can drain your wallet
- Use isolated browser profiles or containers for wallet activity
- Backup seed phrases offline and never share them with anyone — no legitimate support agent will ever ask for your seed phrase
- Start small when trying a new wallet — send a test transaction before trusting it with significant funds
- Keep your wallet software updated to the latest version
- Be wary of unsolicited DMs, emails, or links — phishing is the most common attack vector in crypto
Never share your seed phrase. Anyone who has it has full control of your funds. No wallet developer, support agent, or community moderator will ever ask for it. If someone does, it is a scam.
